What year range and hp is my evinrude

ok i know its not a 20 hp or a 25 because i have one of each. This one weigh quite a bit more than the 72 20 hp and the 78 25 hp. The biggest differences i can find is the bigger motor has exhaust through prob and the carb is different. (still only one carb) The carb on the bigger motor has an adjustment screw on the left side from the back. It doesnt have the rich/lean screw on the very back that hole has a plug. This one also has some sort of electric choke i guess because its screwed to the carb and there is no choke plate. I think its a 30 or 35 hp but Im only guessing. I was told it was mid eighties but that could be wrong

On the port side of the transom mount there should be a tag with the model number. Do you have it? If not some of these forum members may be able to tell you from a decent set of pictures. Rick.

Your guess is about right.
