The only number I have found is this
C7103656, in my eyes it looks like seriel number. But maybe some one can "decode" it?

/Andreas

Andreas,

Looks like you did find the serial number.

Was that number on the powerhead? The powerhead tag did not always have both numbers on it.

You need to look for a tag on the engine mounting brackets. There should be a model and a serial number on that tag unless someone has removed it. The model number is what you need for a year identification.

If the tag is gone it will be tough to identify an exact year, but if you take the engine to a dealer to look at they should be able to get in the ballpark as far as a year.

Yes I found the number on the powerhed. The tag on the mounting bracket is gone. And I have problem to take the engine to a dealer because the nearest dealer is 400km away.
What can I do?

Andreas
:( :( :(

Do you have any idea how old the unit is by what you know or were told about it?

One version ran from early 60's through the mid 70's. The next version ran from the early 80's through 1988. In 1989 another version was released that is the current style still being produced today.

If you could describe the motor as best you can, maybe I can get close.
