I have a Johnson 9.9 4stroke with the following engine family #W1PXM0019220. Any clue?

Never seen a model or serial # like that on any Johnson. Where did you get that #? There should be a tag on either the clamp bracket or the swivel bracket that has the ser. and mod. #'s.

I found a Mod#J1OFRECM and a Ser#G 04453544, but I thought those numbers were for the clamp bracket.

The 2 letters next to the last letter are the year codes. Example: J10FR(EC)M. <br />I=1,N=2,T=3,R=4,O=5,D=6,U=7,C=8,E=9,S=0...So yours is a 1998 model.
