Just aquired a 45 horse 4cyl. Merc serial # 1508288, not sure on the year. Can anyone help me out, also any additional info or tips on this particular engine would be greatly appriciated. Thanks alot...<br /><br />Sean

Can you provide any more details...original color, markings of any kind, etc?<br /><br />My first hunch is that it's a '62, if it's white w/black wrap, says Merc 400 on the carb cover, etc.
