i just got an older ob for free, it is a 40 hp seaking model-GG18744B...SERIAL-26X837063...how much is it worth(if anything ) would any of the parts happen to be interchangable with my 66 18hp evinrude fastwin.

J, your motor is a 62.<br />Not an expert but::<br /> Value depends greatly on condition how comeplete<br />and how interested the buyer is.<br />Just a guess but probably a low of 25-50 for a non running to 1,000 or more for a pristine <br />factory original.<br /> I dont know off hand how much will interchange.<br /> but I checked a few things.ignition parts should interchange, and if equipped with a thermostat<br /> they should be the same.There could be a few insidental pieces that may be the same.
