If it is an Evirude, here is a good place to look for year and HP plus get a manual.<br /> http://www.kencook.com/kccwww/marinepubs/oml06.html <br /><br />Not sure what yours is, but if it old and an Evirude it is a 1938 4.7 HP. I got that using part of your number. If it is not an Evirude, then I am not sure. If it is an old Evirude, and you need plugs, then the service manual may tell you or you can post on this board.
