What's advantages of a merc. big foot?

Can anyone tell me the difference between a Mercury 60hp big foot and a regular foot? I know there is a size difference, but is it any faster?<br /><br />Thanks

The difference is that the bigger prop on the bigfoot turns slower and gets better bite for pushing heavy loads like 'toons and other displacement hulls.<br /><br />The regular foot is smaller and offers less drag, so it should reach a higher top speed on a light boat.<br /><br />Think of a bigfoot as a truck and the regular as a sport model.
