Whats done in an outboards 1st service?

Im wondering if anyone knows what happens in an outboards 1st (10 hr after run in) service. Just wan't to see if its something that could be done at home. Also is this whats required on second hand engine thats had 1 of its pistons replaced?

on a new engine the lower unit has to be checked for leakge and the plugs should be cleaned off because they will be fouled from running a lot of a oil at low speeds<br /><br />on that second hand engine just do a normal run in for about the first 15 hrs or so

Cylinder head bolts should be retorqued at that time.

Jason,<br /><br />Order the OEM service manual. It will tell you exactly. It's also very handy to have around.
