What's it worth

I have a 1975 Mercury 850 Thunderbolt with 1 cylinder with zero compression. I have bough a new Merc 90. What should I ask for the old Merc? Also, I have hydrolics that are about 3 years old that were used for the 1975 Merc.<br /><br />Thanks

lots of backyard builders make their livin off this kind of deal, i know a couple. and i'd say "they" wouldnt pay more than $250 they'll rebuild it and sell it for about $1200-$1500. i bought a 1983 50hp evinrude from one of these guys he paid $150 for it, rebuilt it and sold it to me for $1500. what to ask is entirely up to you.
