i have a 1983 90 horse power evenrude and a 140 horse what is the difference,, both have the same bore 3.5 and stoke,?????????????

JOE,,, I'M FIXING TO TO BEEF UP A 90 I HAVE ALL THE CROSS FLOW PART'S AND BUBBLE AND CARB'S OFF A 140<br />ANY ADVICE THAT COULD HELP ME MAKE A SOLID ENGINE<br />I WOULD BE THANK FUL FOR,,I'VE BEEN WORKING ON BOAT'S FOR THE PAST 12 YR'S,,BUT HAVE NEVER DONE<br />ANYTHING LIKE THIS,, ANY THING I NEED TO KEY IN ON WHAT WOULD THE BEST TIMING BE,,

I'VE GOT A 1983 V4 90 HORSE AND A 1983 140 HORSE<br />I'M TAKING ALL THE CROSS FLOW PART'S OFF THE 140 AND THE CARB'S ,,,THE 140 HAS A BAD CRANK AND SOMEBODY TRYED TO REPAIR THE BLOCK AT THE HEAD AND REALLY MESSED IT UP,,, NOT WORTH FIXING,,FROM<br />WHAT I CAN FIND OUT THE BLOCK'S ARE THE SAME I'VE<br />AS ARE THE CRANK'S AND ROD'S ,,,AND PISTON BORE 3.5 ANY INPUT WILL BE APPRECIATED,,,
