Whats the Tq sppec for a riser on a 3.0?

I searched the great clymer book and its not in there.....go figure!

Bolts are grade 5 3/8 so I'm going with 30 ft/lb <br /><br />I can't believe this is not in the book and a search of the board just came up with a "little more than snug", thanks Bondo! LOL

If the torque number was in the Clymer manual, I doubt that it would be correct!

Ayuh,...... Standard Torque on a 3/8" bolt or stud is 35ft.lbs.....<br /><br />'Course,....... I use the Calibrated Elbow............. :D <br /><br />I save the Torque Wrench for Head Bolts, Rod Bolts,+ Main Bearing Bolts..........Or maybe Torque Sensitive Housings.....
