Girl, 14, Raped On Her Way Home From School<br /><br />NEW YORK, 12:32 p.m. EDT October 10, 2003 - Police in Brooklyn are searching for a suspected rapist, accused of attacking a teenage girl on her way home from school. <br /> <br />It happened Thursday at 4 p.m. as the victim, 14, walked along Neptune Avenue between 33rd and 35th Streets in Coney Island, police say. <br />A man approached her, put a gun to her head, threw jacket over her head and forced her into the stairwell of a building on Neptune Avenue. <br /><br />She was then forcibly raped and sodomized. She was left there. The suspect fled.
