What is this little button. Is it a circuit breaker or what. U can push it in but it comes back out. I just got this boat which is a 88 stratos and was replacing my ignition switch and was just wondering what it is lol.

It must be bypassed because the boat runs without a lanyard attached. I've already ordered a new one so at least the ignition switch and that will be good to go.
