I know nothing about this.. figured I would upload a picture and ask you all what kind of maintenance care I should be doing to keep the wheel and brake system in good condition.

Re: Wheel / Brake Care

I'd start by putting that rubber gromet back in place so you don't wear a hole in your brake line. If you have oil filled hubs I'd change that oil annually, if you have grease filled hubs disassemble, inspect and repack your bearings anually. And no, bearing buddies are not a 100% guarntee that water will not get into your hubs. A bearing buddy is only as good as the grease seal is. Go to Napa and get a cheap single lip non reinforced grease seal and I'll guarantee you'll have water intrusion inside of one season. I like Napa stuff, just not there trailer seals. I get mine from the dealer, they are double lipped, spring reinforced seals made by Chicago Rawhide I believe. A bearing buddy with that seal combo, , now your good for a couple years minimum. I basicaly disassemble, maybe wipe off some old grease and add some new grease, a new seal, and reasemble. If there is ANY hint of moisture in the grease then everything gets totally cleanned, regreased and reassembled.
Inspect your break rotor and pads, I don't think there is an adjustment on those so your good there.
Put the wheel back on and MAKE SURE TO TORQUE THEH WHEEL LUGS to the proper torque spec.

Re: Wheel / Brake Care

Air pressure, tight lugs, and constant maintenance is what I suggest. Moving to trailers
