When Do I Use Stabil & Sea Foam

Hey guys I'm confused about the engine treatments I should be using. I don't know the esact year and model of my Mercury motor. I guess its some were in the mid 90's. The motor has less then 20 hours on it total.

So I have Stabil in my tank now so the gas don't change. I was told by the man who sold me the motor to use Sea Foam as well. So do I use both together? Should I only use the Sea Foam to clean the carbs? How often? Does sea foam do the same Stabil does as a gas treatment? Is there anything else I should know? Please help Thanx

Sea Foam will stabilize the fuel and can be used as a substitute for Stabil. I still use Stabil in the fall because I have plenty. I don't drain my carbs or anything and my motor can sit for 4 months and then run without issues. Use Sea foam to decarbonize and clean, on occassion.
