I don't want to go. But if I do, I can promise you that I will be kicking and screaming all the way.

Life if grand. Live it or move on.

Re: When I die...

Never gave it much thought, but when I go I want to make sure I have receipts for all the fines I have paid. I don't want the big man upstairs having to search for all the judges down below to verify that I paid my fines......SS :D

C'mom guys,
This is just not ment to be, when it is time you will die, same with me as it is with every liveing thing. But talking about it won't make it any eazyer. And it can't be planed, it will just happen.

For me, untill then I just don't think about it and hope that I have many more happy days on the water to come. :)

Re: When I die...

I,ve been very close to death on a number of occasions in my short life and I am well aware of the value life has. I can tell you that more than once it has come down to needing to make a concious decision to live and put more effort into making it, or giving up. Two of those occasions were in sinking boats!
On one occasion it was to make a decision to survive by being tougher than the ******* trying to kill me!
On another it was by deciding to lay still and relax and let the emergency people do their job, bless them.

For me each day brings a new challenge and it's awesome to watch my patients and workmates arrive for the new day fresh and ready to go. As I've said before there's 24+ heros in my life and I get to see each of them every day so it's a constant reminder of the value of life........

To guess how I'd like to go, I'd just say how about the day before I loose my marbles to something like dementia. I don't need somebody else to have to suffer for me.....

Ross
