When replacing water seperators....

When replacing water seperators do you guys prefill with gasoline? Do you put anthing on the rubber seal (since they look like oil filter canisters)? Thanks

I do not prefill. I do put a thin film of oil on the gasket though.

Same...I don't prefill, seems to take no time for the pump to fill them and I also put an oil film on just like an oil filter.
