When to Wax?

Hey All:<br />I live on Long Island NY and my boat is coming out of the water in October.This is my first boat, when should i wax it? Spring Or this fall.<br />Also any suggestion on wax? I have some light discoloration from using Grease lighting cleaner what should i do to fix this.<br />Thanks

When to wax is your choice. My boat is 30 years old and still going strong and I wax twice a year, once before putting it in the water and once before I put it up for the winter. Some say oven cleaner, or products with oxalic or muriatic acid are best hull cleaners. I don't have preference.

The discoloration is on the inside of the boat, the walking platform.
