I have an 89 bayliner capri with a OMC cobra 2.3 yesterday at the lake boat completely went out no power to anything at all. Thought it was the battery but battery is fine checked the fuses under dash all were fine. I can't seem to find where the 50 amp fuses (inside rubber holders?) are in the engine compartment please help!!

A 50 amp fuse in an inline fuse holder is pretty big and I would guess the rubber holder would melt. Look for a small, about 1" x 1/2" rectangular silver box, at least most are silver with 2 wire connectors on it. It may be screwed to the underside of the splash well. If you find it check for power on each terminal. This is normally a circuit breaker and should reset itself but I've run into some that wear out and will not reset.
