We've got an old AQ205a which needs new inlet valves. Looking at the Volvo parts places, it looks like they're out of production
(http://www.marinepartseurope.com/en/volvo-penta-explodedview-7742810-21-15540.aspx). Does anyone know where I can get hold of a set of 6 inlet valves for an engine like this, preferably in the UK?

Massive thanks to anyone who can help us with this - it seems without these parts the engine will be a gonner :(

They are standard Chevy automotive intake valves for a 4.3L V6. Without balance shaft.

Ah great news- does anyone know of a decent source of Chevrolet/GM parts in the UK? www.realsteel.co.uk seem to be pretty handy, so I've asked them for now...

Good to know we can rescue this engine still, hopefully!

Just a note to say that the above company is tip-top. Really knows his stuff and can get parts at very reasonable prices - he knows all about the marine applications and stocks marine parts (gasket sets, etc). Well recommended if you need parts for an old penta.
