where can I rent an alignment tool in CT?

I need an alignment tool after rebuilding my 4.3
I do not want to spend the money to buy one since i doubt I will need it again for some time.
anyone rent them?

Why don't you just buy one off ebay for $40. It's not like you will never need it again. You should be checking the alignment at least yearly when you have the drive off for service.
Just posted this same thing on another thread, and he found one for $26.

I bought one through e-bay a month back for a whoppin $30 or so....not exactly sure but it was cheap and of good quality.I now have it for whenever I need to check alignment.

yeah I know,but I am cheap, what can I say, I usually borrow one from a fellow mechanic, who is a marine mechanic but he is hard to get a hold of this time of year, gee, wonder why...
I broke down & bought the deluxe set w/ seal & bellow tool. 80 bucks & 20 shipping.
now I have to wait till thursday night to get delivery.
funny thing is, on my last boat, I went 15 years, without needing to buy one, sold my cabin boat 6 years ago, now I have a little deck boat & have needed the tool 3 times this year for different reasons.
like you said,nw i have it & wil not be a burdon on my marine mechanic friend any longer, well at least with regards to his tool.
