I live in the North East UK my local river has a speed limit of 5mph and I am not too fussed about going in the sea.... can anyone suggest some lake or loch I can take my boat???
What I do when I want to find a new place to go is talk to guys I work with. I ask them where they like to boat and fish. I live in an area where there are lakes everywhere. some of the places people suggest I never heard of or didn't even know there was a lake there.
Another thing I have done is Google lakes for and area i am going to be in. This has worked out well. A web site will even tell you where the launches are and if there are specicl rules.
Downloadand install "Google Earth" (earth.google.com) on your computer, Zoom in on your house/flat. Then Zoom out a bit, and look for the Dark Blue. Then do a google search on the area you find. Ive found a few spots Ive never Heard of and Ive lived here my whole 28 years.
