I live in NJ and have an old 14 ft fiberglass boat that I want to trash - does anybody know where I can take it or who I should contact??

if you can find a boat salvage yard in your area, I'm sure they would be glad to take it off your hands. Look in the yellow pages under boats, then look for used parts or salvage yards.

Rick

I once bought a boat and trailer. All I wanted was the trailer so I pulled it to the county landfill where they dragged it off the trailer with the loader and had a ball running over it.

Call your township office, it should be considered as bulk trash, and ask how they will handle it.

Give it away. I'm sure someone will take it away for free.

Perhaps you could list it for sale in boat trader, or some other local classified ads, for $50? I would rather give it to someone who could use it than trash it.
