MC1 1979. I have replaced my trim sender and trim limit units. it has been a year since I took my engine out with wiring harness etc. I cant remember where the trim sender wires mount.

Bond-o, my wiring harness for the trim sender has loop ends to screw into the "terminal block", and the trim sender wires from the transom meet up there with the boat harness. My wiring harness wires are not attached to the elusive terminal block. Maybe I can find it today with more light, and a fresher brain than last nite!

thanks

The ones that had terminal blocks usually had the block screwed to the transom someplace. Where ever the boat builder put it.

Don, I am going out to hunt in a few minutes. one of the sender wires goes to ground, the other to the S terminal on the guage, correct?

Yes, one wire does go to ground on the gauge sender, but NOT on the trim limit switch.
