Where is the O2 sensor located

I have a new Yamaha Vmax 150Hp HPDI (2004) and have following question:<br /><br />• Where is the O2 sensor located in the engine room? Pictures or schematic draw.<br /><br />• What is TPS sensor and PCV Pressure valve? Where are they located?<br /><br />Thanks.

hello<br /> look on the upper stbd side of the egine. see the rupper cap with 4 wires coming out? two wire go to a green connector and two wire go to a blue one. that is the O2 sensor. that motor has no PCV. the tps is located on the top throttle shaft. it has 3 wires and goes to a black connector. the wires are orange5V+,red and pink.<br />good luck and if you desire to work on it buy a service manual please .

Thanks alotto.<br /><br />All books were for older motors (V4 & V6 1984-1996), my motor is brand new – 2004.

the only place I know of to buy a HPDI manual is from yamaha. you may try to contact them online. or contact a dealer

,I have a 2oo1 and I was able to order a manual. I am not sure rodbolt is giviny you good advice, remember even a blind squirel can find a NUT. get back to me ,I can help you ALOTTO

the 03 has some changes. I dont think clymer or seloc has updated yet. if you wish to do your own maint on an HPDI you will have to order some test harnesses as well. you must test the O2 sensor after cleaning cause the failure rate is rather high and you must know how to interpet the readings. <br /> good luck and keep posting
