Where is the tell tale?? 1996 Johnson 4hp J4REDD

My friend found a 1996 4hp at the local dump last week. I cant believe that someone would throw it away, it is like brand new! After a good carb cleaning the motor is purring like a kitten but we didnt notice a tell tale stream. We intend to replace the impeller as a matter of routine maintenance but we would like to know if there is a tell tale on this motor and if so where is it?

By the parts breakdown I looked at, there is not a tell-tale on your engine. You just have to watch the water coming out of the exhaust.
