where is the water getting in at?

I know the this boat was not put up right for winter. Found water in the oil. where do you start. I buy passed the exhaust manifold and Elbows, then put the water hose on the water inlet and can hear water comming threw the intake and can see water in the valve covers. Where do most 4.3 mer. break at? need some more Ideas please

Internally in the "valley" where the lifters are

Ayuh,... Just pull the motor,+ tear it down.... It's gotta happen anyways...

Like BD says, the lifter valley is probably the spot,...
Inside, down low at the pan rail is pretty common too..

there was not any water in the heads when I pulled the spark plugs think the heads are ok

Ayuh,... You need to replace whatever/ everything that's Cracked...
It needs to be torn down,+ Inspected..
