Where is weight/motor capacity tag on '89 MonArk 24'?

iboats says my outboard rating's for a 90 hp and 2 shops say it's 115 hp. So I don't run into an insurance nightmare, any idea where the plate showing the max capacity would be on one of these?

Any other resource you know of I could check with in the event the plate's not there? MonArk's out of business and Starcraft's not answering their phone and the emails are bouncing back.

There is no listing in the nada for this pontoon,

But the same weight on a 1999 is listed at 60hp, go figure.

The best thing to do is contact your local marine dept.

Here in florida I have been told that a boat/toon 20ft or more needs no plate.

So here in Florida, does that mean that 20 foot or larger can use ANY size engine?? I'm in the same boat - I have a Johnson 60 on a 24 foot toon, and have no idea who made the toon or how big I can go on the motor.
