With only that one pic it is hard to see the characteristics of your boat. On mine I have a side mount with the mount within reach of the helm and the antenna lies down along the side with the tip toward the stern. Easily accessible when needed, can be raised and lowered while driving the boat and is out of the way when lowered for boarding or trailering. My best guess from what I see.

Keep in mind the higher the antenna the better it will work. That area right above the porthole looks good but can't really tell from the shot. BTW, nice looking boat.

I agree with airshot. Close to the helm and still be able to be stowed for traveling.

On the stbd side near the cleat. You need access behind to run wires and to fasten the brackets
. Your going to have to mount the antenna base SEADOG ANTENNA BRACKETS (SeaDog Line) and a
waterproof CHROME PLATED CABLE OUTLET (SeaDog Line)

Thanks "Thalasso!"

Which cleat are you referring to (bow, mid, or stern)?
Why the SeaDog brand? Any problem with using the ratchet-style stainless steel made by Shakespeare?

Yup - the higher, the greater the range...Wonder why many people don't use extenders? Appreciate the compliment of the boat!

Mid cleat. This way you don't have to deal with the fabric on the overhead in the cutty. Your shifter should be near there and access might be easy because of that. As for the brand i was just using them as a reference. Go with what ever you like. As for the ratchet style just make sure it's adjustable two direction. Up and down left and right. Make sure you include a water proof fitting where the wire goes through the hull.
