Where should water comeout of my 96 75hp force

[my new fishmaster]

Water pressure is way down and the tell tail has little water comming out. Impeller is less than a year old. Noticed water comming out the back of the lower foot out of somesort of steel shaft.

Water leaving the lower unit may be a normal sign - afterall water occupates all cavities not behind seals or gaskets.<br /><br />No or insufficient cooling water / pressure definately points to a defective impeller. Even thought only one year old, it (or the housing) must be faulty again? Problems here could also be the reason why water runs out. Did you ever start the motor without coolingwater supply? It takes a few seconds to spoil an impeller by running it dry.<br /><br />To get a good idea of what's involved, get a manual. Lots of pictures and descriptions of best practise - there is no way about removing the lower unit. And once you are there, fit a pump kit & impeller ..

Needs impeller. Pressure should be 9psi at idle and 18 to 25 at wot. 1996 force 90.
