Where to buy correct gas tank suction pipe?

I just bought a used 21', 2005 pontoon boat with a 60 Hp yamaha 2 stroke. The gas tank is a 29 gallon Moeller. I was not able to prime the suction line with the squeeze bulb, so I removed the suction pipe from the gas tank and to my surprise the suction pipe was completely deteriorated! It only has about 3 inches on it! So, what is the best replacement to buy? Do they have suction pipes that will suck from several points in the gas tank, and have filters on them also?

Say hello to ethanol fuel and be sure to read all the related posts when you resume boating.

I am only aware of single pickup tubes. Multiple tubes would increase the chance of sucking air when the fuel level is low.

And they are not normally supplied with a fuel filter because you already have one in the engine.

Here is one of many sources for the pickup tube: http://greatlakesskipper.com/produc...ndard-37-inch-boat-fuel-tank-pickup-tube.html

I took someone's advice and used a piece of rigid copper tubing. We'll see how that works.
