Where to buy Volvo Penta 7.4GL Manifold and Risers

Since i'm doing some maintenance, was thinking it may be time soon to replace my manifolds and possibly risers. What are some good sites to buy from for replacement parts?

Of course OEM is best, but are the other brands good too, or should i stick to OEM?

Also, where can i search to look up the part numbers?

Thanks will take a look, but seems like the prices are a lot higher than some other places for the volvo parts. I will double check to make sure. How about aftermarket?

Find your OEM part number/s and start searching both online and EBay....Usually you'll find both OEM and aftermarket parts/part numbers that crosses over to the OEM parts. Makes life a bit easier on you so you know you're getting the right fitting parts for your engine model.

The last time I looked for manifolds and risers for my Volvo 7.4L, OEM was the only choice without making some major mods.

I would go OEM anyway. They end uplasting longer than aftermarket so the price difference ends up not being that much different in the long run.

For a good gasket sealing you probably want to change manifolds and risers at the same time. You don't want to mix different brands as there is always differences. Price and quality vary a lot from place/brand/location.

Beware that you'll usually find regular and tall version of risers. Make sure you get the right ones for your application. You don't want water in your engine or an engine compartment door that won't close (don't laugh I've seen it!)

Bruce, who did you end up getting the from? Found a guy on ebay that sells for 1k, but its OEM manifold, aftermarket riser combo. Not bad. But if i can find all OEM for less than 1k that would be better :D

I have bought two sets over the years from a dealer in Florida. They no longer have that website up although the dealer who operated the site is still in business.

Just google places that sell Volvo parts and you will find the cheapest that way.

Yes, the riser is the same on the 7.4L and smaller engines so that is available aftermarket.

For the price of factory manifolds, you can almost get a set of EMI's or IMCO's

GLM may have some now but there is no way I would trust manifolds from Good Luck Marine.
