Where to connect cooling water to 9.9?

I just bought a '70s vintage 9.9 and I have a stupid question:<br /><br />Where/how do I connect a hose to supply cooling water when I am running this thing in my driveway?<br /><br />There is no obvious port or fitting. Is the water intake that small grill just above the prop?<br /><br />Thanks!

Skooks,<br /><br />Most likely that little grill is it. Is there another one just forward of the prop, below the cavitation plate? If so, that's it.<br /><br />I've always found it most effective to run a small engine like that in a five gallon pail.
