Hi I have a "new" 91 Sea Ray 170 and I'm trying to find a replacement throttle control for it. Took it out a couple weeks ago and as soon as I put it in reverse to get away from the dock it wouldn't go into forward. For a couple minutes I could only go in reverse and then that went out as well. (everyone but me had a good laugh as I had to paddle until someone came by and towed me back to the dock. The trolling motor stopped working as well lol) Anyway I just found that the gear on the forward/reverse part of the throttle broke completely in half. Now I'm left trying to find a replacement but it's not easy for a 91. (Mercruser I/O) Oh I'm new to this group and I have a felling I'll be here for quite a while.......
