Where to find Engine Model number on L-Drive

hi all, i am just trying to find out the model number of my engine to get the service manual for it, i have have had a good look around the engine and cant seem to find it.

1990 Force L-Drive

what will the sequence of number be like?

i believe i am looking for something like 90LD90A or something like that

or :

90LD91B
90LD91D



I think there was a plate near the front, below the carb area.
