Where to find model #

I'm sure this is an easy one, but where do you find the model # on the engine....I know its a '72 65HP but there are a couple different models and just wanna check.<br />Thanks

Look on the transom bracket for a metal id tag.If not there look on the engine block for a freeze plug looking cap and post what you find.
