Where to find the oil pump on a 1992 5.7LX Alpha 1?

I am going to try to start a laid up engine, one thing I want to do is manually prime the oil before cranking with the starter.
So far I have removed plugs, squirted oil/wd40 into the cylinders and soaked, turned engine over by hand with breaker bar on the crank. Where will I find the oil pump so I can attach a drill and prime the engine before firing it up with the starter? Or is this even necessary?

Thanks, Duke.

It's a GM 5.7 engine . . . so it would be under the distributor where you can stick a drill/adapter in there and prime the pump.

I usually just fog the cylinders and crank the engine with the spark plugs out until I get a reading on the oil pressure gauge . . . then crank it a bit more.

if you do end up running the oil pump without cranking the motor I've seen it recommended to run the pump, turn the crank 90 degrees, run the pump, turn it again. Til you have gone a full crank revolution. Supposedly the oil can make it's way through as many of the passages as possible using this method.

Thanks! I'll try to delete duplicate post... forum gave "error cannot complete post" or similar, but obviously it did post.
