where to perchase a bib block

hello everyone. i realy need some info an where to perchase a big block at a reasonable price. the water ingestion engine is a merc 7.4 1989 engine is garbage, so we want to replace it with a remanufactor block.<br /><br />thanks for any info

www.dougrussell.com has good prices in the Boating Magazine ads. I only mention them here becuase iboats s=does not seem to sell I/O engines

talk to your GM dealer they sell a lot of blocks<br /><br />Then there are a lot of places that sell motors the closer its ready to drop in the higher the price goes<br /><br /><br />tommays

id go with a long block but the 454's are no less than 2 grand anywhere. but its well worth the extra money for a long block !!! http://www.remanufactured-marine-engines.com/marine-engines.html
