Watch the timer base as you advance/retard the throttle. An arm on that timer base bangs up against a rubber bumper at full throttle. That is the timing adjust screw.
Now that you know that, do you know how to set the timing? Don't monkey with it unless you know what you are doing. Get it just a few degrees too far advanced and kiss the pistons goodby.
You need to break down and buy a good service manual. I don't know of anything legally on-line. Copyrights and all, you know.
