Wheres the coolant going? MC 5.0

Back to my coolant loss. I believe that i may be losing coolant into the cylinders. The reason i think this is happening is recently on first start of the day the starter almost sounds like it binding for a second. Then starts and runs perfectly and will restart the rest of the day. I replaced both manifolds and risers about 1 year ago and used oem gaskets. The oil is clear and no other signs of leeking. Could it be internally between the riser and manifold and should i torque the bolts a bit more? Closed system. Ser. 0m012817. Carbed. Bravo 3

Ayuh,.... 1st thing I'd do is,.... Go pull the spark plugs, 'n spin it over to see how much coolant, 'n from where....

Then I'd drain the coolin' system, 'n Pressure Test it....

All before I tried to start it again,..... yer lucky if ya ain't already bent a rod...

Thanks Bondo, Question, if I pressure test the closed system and it IS leaking at riser gasket but not visible to the outside will I be able to tell if its leaking into the
manifold ? Thanks

Ayuh,.... Pull the rubber boot back, 'n you'll Hear it leakin', Inside...

Remember to drain, before ya start....

Thanks will do, but in Massachusetts right now visiting the grandchildren, as soon as I get back I will test and report back...
