Where's your favorite fishin hole?

After "talking" to some of you guys for some time now, I was interested where you guys like to do most of your boating? <br />For me, its a lake called Patoka Lake here in southern Indiana. The lake is 8880 acres at summer pool. The average depth is 15'. Believe it or not, this is the second largest lake in the state. Fishing is great for Largemouths, crappie, bluegill, white bass, and even striped bass. Its a beautiful lake that is surrounded by state owned land, so all you see is water and trees.<br />Lets hear some details about your favorite fishin holes!!!!<br /><br />Have fun, be safe, and good fishin.

This is my favorite fishing hole.<br />Lake Minniwanka in the Rocky Mountians<br />21 km long and 460 ft deep, Full of Monster lake<br />trout.<br />

Wow!!! Nosleep, that's a heck of a rod and reel you got mounted on the boat there. <br /><br />My favorite place to fish is where the fish are biting.

My favorite spot is Millers Ferry in Sweet Home Alabama. Crappie capital of the Universe!

Lake St. Clair (Detroit) Best smallmouth fishing in the world. Also great walleye, perch and world class muskie. - Bob

NOSLEEP - That is a truly breathtaking photo. What a great place! I am jealous as all heck! Good thing I don't live there because I would never get out of the boat <br /><br />My favorite place to fish is off Cape Cod (Plymouth to be exact). I had one of the best days I can remember chasing yellow fin and blue fin tuna for 8 solid hours!<br /><br />When a school of Tuna feeds they jmp right out of the water from all angles as they "ball up" the bait fish. It is an awesome, heart racing experience. I'll never forget it.

Cool pic nosleep, I think everyone will be jealous of you now. Unfortunately, I don't live in the fishing capital of the world. Great hunting though. The biggest lake in Indiana is only a little over 10,000 acres, (Lake Monroe).

Ralph... it truly is the most beautiful Lake I <br />have ever had the opportunity to fish at.<br />Every weekend during the season that it is open<br />I make my way there. Its 1hr 30 min drive is well<br />worth the effort to get there, for the last 20 +<br />years since my first trip. Its only open from<br />May long weekend to Sept long weekend. Carphunter<br />I think Magster lives near the fishing capital of<br />the world.I like to think of it as Gods Country.<br />But I only get there for a couple of weeks a year <br />,Vancouver Island that is.

I have to agree with Bob Pearse, Lake St. Claire. The fishing is awesome, the only thing one has to complain about is the Bass season is shortened due to the water being shared with Canada.

eel bay in the thousand islands is not only the<br />most beatifull place on earth IMHO, but has a great<br />variety of fishing. millions of perch for the kids,<br />huge musky/pike for me and some nice smallmouth.<br />when I win the lottery, I'll buy an island and<br />y'all are invited

I guess Ive been blessed by the man up stairs, I catch fish most anywhere I go. So I guess any fishing hole is my favorite.
