I have a 24V trolling motor, MINN KOTA, and was wanting to know which is the most relaible 2 bank onboard charger to use. I have seen several but have limited knowledge of charging batteries. This is my first trolling motor for my boat. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

I think they are all good but suggest you get one that is at least 10 amps per bank and supports one bank of 24 volts. They are not cheap but all I have seen have been very good.

Your starting battery could get by with 5 amps but your 24 volt trolling bank should be at least 10 amps.

I've been using a Guest 2611 for the past 4 years with no problems. It's a 2 bank/10 amp charger.

This model is only 5 Amps per bank, and I don't think it charges each bank individually like the dual pro se.

Also the dual pro se is 10 amps each banks.

But heard good things about it

I have been using a Minn Kota MK220 for two years and it has been great.

If you take a look at some reviews about this one, they say that is does not charge the batteries fully.

Reviews came from Cabela and Bass pro...:)
