Which carb kit?

Looking at two different kits for my 1984 evinrude 140hp. Should I get the OMC or the Sierra? The only difference I see is the omc includes the float.

I think your float is plastic and probably doesn't need replacing, but I would check first before ordering.

I myself use only the OEM or Sierra Viton kits. The part number for sierra is 18-7046V. I have had to may problems with thin gaskets in standard kits.

I second OEM not to say sierra doesn't work, I'm just an OEM guy for the little $$$ difference.
