Which Control Box?

Have a 1984 Yamaha 15 hp kicker on my fishing boat, and I'm considering changing it from tiller control to remote control. I have the conversion kit for the motor, but I'm not sure what type or brand of control box (shopping for a used one) I should be looking for. Lots of used ones out there, but I sure don't want to waste money on the wrong one.<br />Thanks for help you can give me on this.

Any control box that uses 3300 control cables will work.

noipe<br /> the stroke on most tinymite yams is different.<br /> most use push to open as opposed to pull. some boxes cannot be changed. your control box, whoever made it, must have the correct stroke in the correct direction to operate the shift and throttle. look in the rigging guide from yamaha to determine what you need. the 703 and 704 boxes are convertable.
