Which cover should I buy for my Bayliner?

I have a 16ft Bayliner Capri which is actually 15.7 feet long. The covers I am looking at are for 14 to 16 ft boats and 16 to 18 foot boats. Some folks have told me to get the longer one as it will cover the engine. I don't plan to trailer it, just cover the boat out in the yard.

Thanks in advance,

John:confused:

for a semi custom cover, measure the length, + the beam. most semi fit covers come in various boat designs, like trihulls, closed by vhull, row riders, center consols, lateeda... get the one that most fits your hull design..... if ya get one that is too short, or not wide enough, it won't cover it... if it's too big, ya'll have some extra overhang.... i think to big would be better than to small....

If you have an OB..............they make "universal" covers specifically for your application. There is no need to settle.........

Dallas Canvas makes some great custom covers. Google them, you can't order from the website, you'll probably have to call to see if they have one that fits.
