Which Exhaust Manifold

Well, I found a piece of the riser coming out of the idle ports on the transom. I did some investigating and discovered my riser has decayed and is currently returning to the earth. During the shenanigans of removing the riser, snapped a riser bolt in the manifold. Now I'm debating about taking the manifold to a machine shop and having it drilled and tapped, but due to the current status of the riser I feel I may as well replace the manifold.

Sorry for the long winded post, I had to vent. Here's the question. My engine serial is M041883 and my Intake/Exhaust ports are different sizes, if that makes a difference. I'm also fairly certain it has the MerCarb (one mixture screw). From what I can tell the Merc parts catalog calls for part 806867a3. Iboats currently lists two part numbers; "QUICKSILVER 860235A04" (which I think is the new style replacement), and "Sierra 18-1956-1" which replaces part number 806867a. Will the cheaper Sierra part work for my application?

Also, does Sierra 18-1975-1 sound right for the riser?

Since we are pic junkies I will add some hideous oxidation for your entertainment once I boot my phone up.

do a complete job and replace both the manifolds and risers. no sense trying to salvage your current manifolds, they are not long for the world either.

I prefer OEM or OSCO or BARR manifolds vs the lower quality manifolds. this is a you get what you pay for deal.
