Which holes do I use to mount the motor? My original force holes are close, but dont quite line up on the bottom. I plan on redrilling and putting a bolt on each side. What about the top 4 holes, 1 bolt per side? more? Also which of the four holes, the top? or which ever one lines up best? Thanks.

there is multiple holes at the top and slots in the bottom to allow the motor to be raised or lowered to get the best performance, you need two bolts in the bottom slots (1 each side) and the same in the top holes, which ones depends on your boat transom height.

i usually use the top hole with the motor sitting on the transom, and the top of the slot. this allows you to be able to raise the motor if necessary, if you have to lower motor, you have to cut the transon, so the motor has to come off anyway. 4 mounting bolts with big washers inside and out. seal the holes.
