Which is the right Prop for Express Cruiser 390 ?

Hi @ all!

I?ve searched the prop charts of searay.com but haven?t found the type/model or part number of my 1989er EC 390.

Does anybody know which one they used? Or have a part number?

Where can I buy a new one? And at what price?

The diesel engines are 2 Caterpillar with 425 HP each.

Hi the present props are not the right ones. So the part number is useless.

What i found in a manual.

17000lbs if its useful
41 feet long
3500 rpm and present 3500 rpm
speed ? broken

and 3 different types of props listed in the manual


19x18 1 1/2 L3C Prop 120965
19x18 1 1/2 R3C Prop 120964
20x25 1 1/2 L3C Prop 121012
20x25 1 1/2 R3C Prop 121020
20x18 1 1/2 3RC 490615 or 409573 for the left one.

Is there a difference between the left and the right prop due to the different part numbers?

We are probably not going to be able to interpret part numbers.
But Sea Ray would probably help with selections from their list.
But if we had your present rpm and speed prop numbers and max recommended rpm can probably recommend a prop or at least give an idea
of how far off you are.Their are folks here that have lots of prop knowledge
but without the specs I asked for they have nothing top work from.
I not an expert but judging from the prop sizes the
the smaller props are probably for smaller gas motors. the larger ones for diesel and/or gear reduction.The list is certainly not for one set of engines.
