which JB weld product?

I recently hit a rock and have a fairly deep scratch on the outdrive just above the oil drain screw/ I want to paint the scratch but would like to fill it first. Is there a JB weld product that will work? and if so which one the marine weld or perhaps the weld stick?

Fiest of all do you have any internal damage? Did you check the engine alignment? Before you just paint it, I would have the out drive removed and checked out first. Better safe than sorry.

I dont think that it was that big of a hit. I was beside the rock and it is more of a scratch. It is just to deep on part of it for primer to fill. It seems to be cosmetic type damage

However on the note of better safe than sorry would there be any symptoms if the alignment was out? there is no vibration and every things seems to run and sound fine.
