which key/kill switch to install?

I have an intermittent starting problem that I have narrowed down to the key switch (there are only 2-3 volts being supplied from it to the solenoid when turned to the "start" position).

The original p/n is 383493 and the electric choke is the toggle type. Does anyone know the latest p/n for this switch and also the p/n for a kill switch that would work instead? Can I (should I) convert to a push-in choke? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Jolly
Ignition switch #383493 supercedes to # 386947. I would replace this switch with the correct part. The electric system on your model works a little differntly than most outboards. I looked in the napa catolog and they don't seem to have a replacement. You moght try West Marine, Boaters World, or Harbor marine in Everett Wa. I would try Harbor marine first.
